Executive summary
Our privacy policy rests upon three core principles that guide the design of the application:
No account required
The app is 100% functional without signing in. Neither your code nor your progress ever leaves your computer.
Local storage
Your algorithms are saved as plain .pseudo text files on your own disk.
Zero tracking or analytics
No behavioral telemetry, no advertising, no data sales, and no training AI models with your code.
Data we process
The volume of information we process depends strictly on how you choose to use PseudoLearn.
If you use the app without an account: none
The algorithms you write, your progress through the knowledge base, and your preferences are kept solely within the app directory on your device. We have no access to them and no technical means of recovering them.
If you choose to sign in (optional)
An account only enables backup and synchronization across your devices. It stores your user identifier, email address, display name or photo if provided by your login provider, algorithm metadata and contents, completed modules, and general preferences.
If you contact us via the web form
We process your contact reason, email, message, and any program snippet you voluntarily paste. Your browser environment telemetry is only transmitted if you check the corresponding box, and your IP address is sent to the anti-bot service solely to verify you are human.
Where data is stored
Your data resides primarily on your local machine and, secondarily and encrypted, in European infrastructure.
On your device
Your programs are always saved as plain-text .pseudo files alongside a local index. That is the primary, self-contained copy, whether you have an account or not.
In Supabase (Frankfurt, European Union)
Only if you chose to sign in. Supabase is our authentication and database provider. All data travels encrypted over HTTPS/TLS, and the backend enforces Row-Level Security (RLS) so each account can only access its own records. Session tokens are stored securely in your system Keychain.
On the website
The website runs on Cloudflare Workers and does not retain databases of form submissions. The contact form generates a secure email dispatched through Oracle Cloud (Frankfurt) directly to our support inbox.
Self-hosted assets
The website does not request fonts or scripts from third-party hosts to ensure your IP address is not shared. Only your theme and language choices are stored locally, which is why you will never see cookie consent banners or trackers.
Account access and age requirements
Authentication is handled through established identity providers or direct magic links.
Identity and email privacy
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or a magic link sent to your email. If you use Sign in with Apple and conceal your address, we receive Apple private relay address and never your real inbox.
Age requirements
Creating an account requires being at least 16 years of age or the legal minimum in your country with parental consent. However, the app can be used without an account at any age with complete safety.
Deleting your account and data
We guarantee the right to permanent deletion directly and without bureaucratic hurdles.
Direct in-app self-service
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account. Upon confirmation, your cloud account, synced algorithms, learning progress, and cloud preferences are permanently and immediately purged.
Local device retention
Deleting your account does not remove algorithms saved locally on your machine to prevent accidental data loss. When signing out, you can choose whether to keep or remove local files.
Request via email
You may also request account deletion by emailing support@pseudolearn.com from your registered address. Requests are processed within 30 days, with backup snapshots rotating within a maximum 30-day window.
Retention periods
We adhere to strict data minimization and finite retention periods.
- Local files on your device: kept until you delete them or uninstall the application.
- Synchronized records: for the lifetime of your active account. Deleted algorithms retain a 90-day technical tombstone marker solely to propagate deletion to other devices.
- Support communications: kept for 24 months from the last reply to ensure continuity in issue resolution.
- Inactive accounts: if an account remains unused for 24 months, an email notification will precede its automatic deletion.
Your rights
We uphold rigorous international standards for personal data protection.
You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, and oppose the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights under Peru Law No. 29733, as well as rights of erasure, restriction, and data portability under the GDPR in the EU and the CCPA in California).
Your files belong to you: you can export all your algorithms in plain text at any time directly from the app. For additional requests, email us at support@pseudolearn.com (response within 30 days).
We do not sell or share personal information with commercial advertisers, meaning no opt-out configuration is ever required.
Changes and contact
We maintain full transparency with our community regarding policy updates.
Any future updates to this policy will appear on this page along with an updated effective date. If a change is material and you hold an active account, we will notify you by email.
