Acceptance of terms
Using any PseudoLearn application or service signifies agreement with these guidelines.
By downloading, installing, or using PseudoLearn, you accept these terms. If you disagree with any portion, you must refrain from using the software. As a reminder, the app is fully functional without an account: registration is purely optional and solely enables cross-device sync.
License of use

App Store downloads
If you installed the app through the Apple App Store, your license is governed by Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), supplemented by these specific terms without replacing them.
Restrictions
Reverse engineering, decompilation, redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the native application or core engine code is strictly prohibited, except as expressly permitted by mandatory law.
Your account
Responsibilities regarding your authentication credentials.
Creating an account requires being at least 16 years of age or the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction with guardian consent. Accounts are strictly personal and non-transferable.
You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials and devices. If you notice unauthorized access, notify us immediately. You can cancel and delete your account at any time via in-app settings.
Your algorithms belong to you
The code you write belongs entirely to you.
Scope of synchronization
When enabling synchronization, you authorize us solely to store, transmit, and restore your files across your own linked devices. We do not publish, share, commercially analyze, or utilize your code to train artificial intelligence models.
Local backup responsibility
Remote backup is provided as a convenience. You are responsible for preserving local copies of work that is critical to your studies or projects.
Acceptable use
Conduct standards and platform safety.
You agree not to use PseudoLearn to violate laws or third-party rights, bypass server security measures, access other user data, or overload website infrastructure via automated scripts. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for egregious violations.
Intellectual property
Distinguishing what is open from what remains protected.
Native app and engine
The source code of the language engine and native applications is closed-source and our proprietary property.
Pedagogical curriculum
The 15 learning modules, language specifications, and exercise sets are protected by copyright. You may freely use them for personal study or cite them in academic contexts with attribution, but systematic redistribution or commercial reproduction without consent is prohibited.
Website and brand assets
The website source code is released under the open-source MIT license. However, the name «PseudoLearn», the brand mark, the wordmark, and product screenshots remain strictly proprietary.
Pricing and purchases
Transparency regarding present and future pricing models.
PseudoLearn is distributed free of charge in its initial release. Should optional paid capabilities be introduced in the App Store in the future, all transactions will be handled entirely through Apple.
The website stores no payment information, includes no third-party payment gateways, and accepts no donations or direct payments.
Availability and offline-first design
Network independence to safeguard your learning progress.
All core functions of PseudoLearn — the editor, code parser, step-by-step interpreter, interactive diagrams, and exercises — operate 100% offline without an internet connection.
Cloud synchronization is provided as-is subject to infrastructure availability. In the unlikely event that sync services are discontinued, at least 30 days notice will be provided to export your data without impacting local storage.
Warranties and limitation of liability
Scope of responsibility as an educational instrument.
PseudoLearn is provided «as is» as an educational aid. We do not warrant specific academic outcomes, nor do we guarantee that projected code translations (such as Python or Rust) are suitable for production environments.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from application usage, without prejudice to non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
